Free: Fort Tilden Hawk Watch on World Migratory Bird Day (10/8)

In celebration of World Migratory Bird Day, NYC Audubon, in partnership with Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy and the American Littoral Society, is hosting a Hawk Watch at Fort Tilden in the Breezy Point area of Rockaway Beach. We will hike along the beach, dunes, and woods of the fort to look for hawks, falcons, osprey, monarch butterflies, and maybe an eagle or two. Visit the Hawk Watch platform on top of Battery Harris East for great views of the ocean as migrating birds fly by at eye level. Kids welcome!
