Free: Canarsie Bird Walks with Mike Yuan (9/10)

Saturdays, September 10 and 24 and October 8 (World Migratory Bird Day), 8-10am

Experience fall migration in the coastal woodlands, tidal channel, and one of the only freshwater ponds in Brooklyn, with Mike Yuan, NYC Audubon board executive vice president. Expect to see herons, shorebirds, flycatchers, vireos, warblers, and sparrows. All birding levels welcome. Please bring your own binoculars if you have them, but loaner binoculars will be available. Meet at the Canarsie Park House at Seaview Avenue and East 88th Street. 

Registration encouraged but not required (though it’s helpful if you’d like to borrow binoculars so we make sure we have enough!). No limit. Free.
