ANNUAL MEETING AND CONSERVATION PROGRAM UPDATE
Wednesday, June 9, 6pm
A Virtual Gathering with NYC Audubon
NYC Audubon conducts scientific research in New York City to understand how birds are using our urban environment and how this environment affects them, via signature conservation programs such as Project Safe Flight, Waterbirds of NY Harbor, and Green Roof Monitoring programs. Join us virtually as new Director of Conservation and Science Dr. Kevin Burgio and the NYC Audubon conservation team look back on significant achievements and key findings from the past year in our research and conservation work, including the launch of an expanded www.dBird.org, our green roof biodiversity monitoring, and the 2021 Harbor Herons nesting surveys. The conservation program will conclude with a look forward to the year ahead in research and conservation as we emerge from the pandemic.
Our board election and annual meeting will precede the presentation. Registration required. Limited to 500. Free
