Description

June 19-25 is Pollinator Week! Join NYC Audubon in celebrating and raising awareness of pollinator health. This year, our friends at the Madison Square Park Conservancy invite ecology enthusiasts and nature lovers to learn about pollinators that live in New York State, why they are essential, and how we can all work together to protect them, in a free webinar.

In this virtual event, NYC Audubon's Director of Conservation and Science, Dustin Partridge, joins Matt Schlesinger (Chief Zoologist at the New York Natural Heritage Program) and Sarah Kornbluth (Field Associate at the American Museum of Natural History's Division of Invertebrate Zoology) to discuss the results of a New York State Pollinator survey, the importance of urban green spaces to pollinators and other wildlife, and findings from a pollinator survey done at Madison Square Park. MSP’s Horticulture Manager, Jessica Kaplan, will moderate.

Registration required here. No limit. Free.
