Let's Go Birding Together with Alice Austen House (6/17) (Free)

Meet us at LGBTQ+ historical monument Alice Austen House for a Let's Go Birding Together (LGBT) outing this Pride Month! Right on Staten Island's eastern coast, Alice Austen Park provides a beautiful view of The Narrows, where may also find different species of waterbirds.

Registration not required but encouraged (it helps us know how many binoculars we should bring!). No limit. Free.

Note on Accessibility:

This park has a mix of paved and unpaved paths on fairly flat terrain. The Alice Austen House museum is wheelchair accessible and contains a restroom. There is a small gravel parking lot behind the museum, accessible from Hylan Boulevard. Street parking is generally available along Edgewater Street at the corner of the museum.
