Get to know the calls and songs of the birds of beautiful Green-Wood Cemetery. We'll look and listen for sparrows, warblers, woodpeckers, and waterbirds—plus the cemetery's famous Monk Parakeets! Beginning birders welcome.
Registration required. Binoculars available upon request. Limited to 15 people. Free.
This outing will follow paved paths and may include some steps and inclines. Restrooms are available at all entrances to the cemetery. The meeting point at the main cemetery entrance is one block from the 25th Street D/N/R subway station; parking is free inside the cemetery.
