Birding with Alice Austen House for World Migratory Bird Day (5/13) (Free)

Meet us at LGBTQ+ historical monument Alice Austen House this World Migratory Bird Day! Right on Staten Island's eastern coast, Alice Austen Park provides a beautiful view of The Narrows, where may also find different species of wading birds.

Registration not required but encouraged (it lets us know how many binoculars we should bring!). No limit. Free.

Note on Accessibility:

This park has a mix of paved and unpaved paths on fairly flat terrain. The Alice Austen House museum is wheelchair accessible and contains a restroom. There is a small gravel parking lot behind the museum, accessible from Hylan Boulevard. Street parking is generally available along Edgewater Street at the corner of the museum.
